Living Here

Hastings is a famous, historic town on the south coast of England, big enough to be interesting and small enough to be friendly.

It has a lively town centre with an indoor shopping centre, bars, clubs and a cinema as well as a historic Old Town, full of charming shops, tea rooms, art galleries, antiques and continental style al fresco dining and drinking.

Hastings is surrounded by beautiful countryside with many historical places of interest nearby, stunning parkland and cliff-side walks.

Hastings is close to Brighton and London with direct train links to London and easy to get to by air, ferry or train including Eurostar.

Welfare and Accommodation

The college has a full-time Accommodation and Welfare Team who can help you with your accommodation needs:

  • Helping to secure your visas and booking your accommodation before you arrive in the UK
  • Arranging your airport pick-up and drop-offs
  • Securing you medical and dental care whilst you study with us
  • Opening bank accounts
  • Providing an out of college hours emergency number for peace of mind and an added level of service and support to all international students

Your host will provide a comfortable bedroom along with breakfast and evening meals.

All of our hosts are culturally aware and will support you to further develop and enhance your English by reinforcing what is learned in the classroom at home.

Self-catering accommodation can be arranged on an individual basis, depending on your requirements.
